Richardton Healthcare Foundation

The Richardton Healthcare Foundation, established 2009, exists to support the quality of life for every resident and every caregiver at the Richardton Health Center. The foundation raises funds through events, appeals, grants and multi-year donations and are crucial to assist in purchases outside of the regular operating budget of the health center.

The smallest nursing home in North Dakota, the Richardton Health Center receives high ratings from state and national organizations. The Foundation is proud to support the caregivers in their daily care of residents and the quality, local jobs created by the facility.

The Richardton Healthcare Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. Gifts to the foundation are used directly for the betterment of care and quality of life for the residents and caregivers. Gifts are tax deductible and there are several options for giving:

Gifts of Grain and Lean on Livestock

Agriculture producers can make a contribution to the Foundation through bushels, dollars, or specific livestock sold. A gift of a commodity in the name of the Richardton Healthcare Foundation is a favorable tax consequence. Visit with our grain or livestock seller to complete this giving option.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is part of a donor’s financial and estate plan: a gift of equity, life insurance beneficiary, real estate, securities or cash. Visit with your estate planning team to invest in the future by considering Richardton Healthcare Foundation as a beneficiary of your estate.

Qualified State Tax Credit Endowment Fund

The Richardton Healthcare Foundation Endowment Fund is a component of the North Dakota Community Foundation. Contributions are managed by NDCF and the investment income earned is distributed to the Richardton Healthcare Foundation. To make a contribution to the endowment, make your check payable to NDCF, PO Box 387, Bismarck, ND 58502-0387.
